Introduction
Welcome to SunDink by JudeTech Solutions Ltd, trading as JD ("we", "our" or "us"). SunDink is a pickleball game and scorer for iPhone and Apple Watch, with Android to follow. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains what personal data SunDink collects, how we use it, and your rights.
In short: we collect what SunDink needs to work, our analytics and crash tools know you only by an account ID (never your name, email address or phone number), we show no ads, and we never sell your data.
Data We Collect
Your Account and Profile
- Sign-in: You sign in with Apple, Google, or a sign-in link sent to your email address (a "magic link"), handled by Firebase Authentication. We receive your email address and, if Apple or Google share it, your name. If you sign in with Apple, you can choose to share a private relay address instead of your email.
- Profile: Your name, your self-rated level (2.0 to 4.5), whether you mostly play singles or doubles, an optional DUPR rating that you type in yourself (we don't connect to DUPR), and your language.
Matches and Circles
- Matches you score: The players' names as you type them, the format, the rallies and the scores.
- Circles: If you join a circle (a private group of players), its members can see your name and self-rated level, and your answers to "Who's in?" when the group plans a session.
Usage Analytics and Crash Reports
- Usage Analytics: Unless you turn it off, the app sends PostHog a record of the screens you open and the actions you take (for example, starting or finishing a match), and when the app is installed, opened and updated, with your account ID (or an anonymous ID before you sign in), your device model, operating system and app version. It never includes your name or email address. You can turn it off at any time under Settings → Privacy → Share usage stats; crash reports are still sent, so that we can keep the app working.
- Crash and Error Reports: If the app crashes or hits an error, a report is sent to Sentry so that we can fix it. A report contains your account ID, your device model, operating system and app version, what went wrong and where in the app, and the screens you used just before. It never contains your name or email address.
- PostHog and Sentry store this data on servers in the European Union. PostHog is set to anonymise IP addresses, and we don't record your screen.
Support Messages
If you contact us from the app, your email includes your account ID, app version, device model and the ID of the last error report, so that we can find and fix your problem quickly.
Only If You Turn It On
- Apple Health: If you allow it, SunDink can save your pickleball sessions as workouts in Apple Health. We never use Health data for advertising.
- Strava: If you connect your Strava account, SunDink uploads the sessions you choose to Strava.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and run your account
- Score your matches and keep your history and statistics
- Run your circles and show their members to each other
- Find and fix crashes and errors
- Understand which features are used, so we can improve SunDink
- Answer your support messages
We don't show ads, we don't sell your data, and we don't use it to track you across other apps or websites.
Purchases
If SunDink offers in-app purchases, they are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. We never see your card or payment details. We keep a record of what you bought, linked to your account, so that we can unlock it and restore it on your other devices.
Data Storage and Security
Your account, profile, matches and circles are stored in Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore) in the United States, and our server code runs in Google Cloud's us-central1 region. Usage analytics (PostHog) and crash reports (Sentry) are stored in the European Union. We use appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal data.
Third-Party Services
SunDink uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): For sign-in, database storage and server code
- Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In: If you choose to sign in with your Apple or Google account
- PostHog (EU): For usage analytics, which you can turn off
- Sentry (EU): For crash and error reports
- Apple App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat: To process and restore purchases
- Apple Health and Strava: Only if you turn them on
Each of these services has its own privacy policy about how it handles your data.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account), or by emailing admin@judedon.com from the email address on your account. Deleting your account removes your profile and your sign-in.
Matches you played with other people may stay in their history. A purchase stays with your Apple ID or Google account.

- The right to access your data
- The right to correct inaccurate data
- The right to delete your data
- The right to restrict or object to processing
